Gatehills Refund Policy
This page (together with the documents referred to on it) outlines the terms of our Refund Policy for products or services purchased on our website https://www.gatehills.com (“our site”), whether as a guest or a registered user. Please read these terms carefully before using our site. By using our site, you indicate that you accept these terms of use and agree to abide by them. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using our site.
1. Domain Name Refunds
1.1 .ae and امارات. Domain Refunds
If you wish to cancel your .ae or امارات. (dot Emarat) domain name within the first 3 days (less than 72 hours) of registration, Gate Hills Technology FZE will refund your full domain registration fee, minus the credit card processing fee (AED 10 per .ae or امارات.). Refunds are not available after 3 days (more than 72 hours) of domain registration. However, you may cancel your account at any time by contacting our support team. Please submit a ticket requesting domain cancellation.
1.2 Other Domain Registrations
Refunds are not applicable for any other domain registrations (excluding .ae and امارات.) or renewals by Gate Hills Technology FZE, either in whole or in part.
1.3 Domain Registration with Registry
Once a domain has been registered with the applicable registry, Gate Hills Technology FZE is unable to issue any refunds for that domain due to the bespoke nature of domains. The client accepts this as a fair allocation of risk since Gate Hills Technology FZE cannot claim a refund from the relevant registry.
1.4 Refunds Before Domain Registration
Refunds for domains requested before registration with the relevant registry are at the sole discretion of Gate Hills Technology FZE.
1.5 Client Responsibility for Domain Accuracy
Gate Hills Technology FZE cannot verify or check for errors in domain registration requests. It is the client's sole responsibility to ensure the domain has the correct spelling and meets their specifications.
1.6 Cooling-Off Period
As per the General Terms and Conditions, domain registrations are bespoke purchases, and clients waive any right to a cooling-off period. If the client, as a consumer, wishes to retain such a right, they must notify Gate Hills Technology FZE in advance, and the domain registration will proceed only after the applicable cooling-off period has expired.
2. Web Hosting and Website Builder Refunds
2.1 Refund for Web Hosting Plans
You may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase for monthly or annual web hosting plans.
2.2 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you change your mind about the product, we offer a “30-day money-back guarantee.” You must notify us within 30 days of activating your shared hosting account on Gate Hills Technology FZE that you wish to cancel. You will receive a full refund for the amount paid, minus domain registration fees, which are non-refundable. This guarantee does not apply to domain name registrations, renewals, transfers, or Cloud Server products.
2.3 Faulty or Misdescribed Services
If the web hosting or website builder services you have paid for are faulty or misdescribed, you may have legal rights to cancel the contract or request re-performance or a refund. You must inform us in writing of the reasons for considering the services faulty or misdescribed. We will respond to any complaint within 28 days and inform you whether a refund will be issued.
2.4 In-Store Credit After 30 Days
After 30 days, you may request in-store credit for any unused time remaining on your annual plan. The unused time will be prorated based on the date of purchase.
2.5 Backup of Website Files
When requesting a refund for web hosting, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that they have backed up and downloaded all website files and emails from the Gate Hills Technology FZE server before submitting the cancellation request. Once the cancellation request is processed, the hosting account and website files will be permanently removed from the server.
3. Cloud Hosting Refunds
3.1 Refund for Cloud Hosting Plans
You may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase for monthly or annual cloud hosting plans.
3.2 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee for Cloud Hosting

4. Addon Refunds
Due to the nature of certain products/services, such as addons and licenses (SSL Certificates, Spam Experts, Website Protection, Google Workspace), no refunds are applicable unless special approval has been issued by the billing team.
